MEHR PLATZ
FÜR UNS
The concept was supposed to be at a busstop in Linz. The installation is a dynamic sensory experience, transforming from a simple transit point into a space of connection and exploration. With a bold new look and an immersive sound installation, the stop should invite passersby to engage in a way that goes beyond the typical bus stop experience.
The vibrant yellow color creates a fresh atmosphere that contrasts with the often muted tones of the surrounding environment, inviting people to pause and reflect.
The concept was developed in collaboration with Tina Grüll and composer Otto Rotermundt. By scanning a QR code, those waiting at the bus stop can access an auditory experience that personally connects them to the space in an engaging way.
With this installation, the bus stop becomes more than just a functional stop—it transforms into a place of arrival, a landmark that encourages curiosity, interaction, and connection. Through these design elements, we aim to show that even the most ordinary spaces can be reimagined to foster new connections and enrich everyday experiences.

We received a cancellation for installing our work, and the buzzword was 'Obdachlose.' I’m wondering what the broader meaning is supposed to be, since our design is intended for everyone, not just certain people. We view it as a key component, illustrating that our cities are not designed for their inhabitants but rather to project an image selected by few.
